IL RICCIO | Capri
Situated next to the Blue Grotto in Capri, the secret tip here is to bring your bathing suit for a refreshing post-lunch plunge into the Med. Depending on the conditions, those lucky enough can swim right into the grotto. Towels come with the service. Insider tip - make sure you leave room for dessert as their infamous “Temptation Room” will beckon your inner sweet tooth.
LA CONCA DEL SOGNO | Nerano
The name aptly translates to “bay of dreams”. Situated at the base of a cliff and ideally accessed by boat, the setting is nothing short of spectacular. A pitcher of local wine immersed with chunks of fresh, mouth-watering peaches is essential here.
LA SPONDA AT LE SIRENUSE | Positano
This picture speaks a thousand words. The views and setting here will guarantee one of the most memorable and romantic restaurants you will ever dine in
LA FONTELINA | Capri
One of the most exclusive beach clubs in Capri which can be accessed by boat or foot. Feel the world's problems instantly melt away with the ice in your rosato. The blue and white parasols nestled among the rocks salute the brilliant blue of the Mediterranean below. The food and setting are beyond spectacular; they are faultless – this is pure heaven Italian style!
DA ADOLFO | Positano
No trip to the Amalfi is complete without a visit to this institution. The restaurant has consistently delivered on simple yet stunning produce and fresh seafood for decades. After gorging on a delicious lunch, spend the rest of the afternoon reclining on their private sun loungers. Half the fun is just getting there via the private hop-on boat which departs from Positano pier.
LE GROTELLE | Capri
A stunning terrace built into the rock with some of the most impressive views on the island. Simple, fresh flavoursome meals prepared by Mama Rosa are only enhanced by the rustic atmosphere. Those feeling energetic may enjoy a rewarding 20-30min hike in from town.
BAGNI TIBERIO | Capri
Seated on a beautiful veranda built above the remains of an ancient roman bath where Emperor Tiberius once bathed. Next to the restaurant you can view the ruins of a small amphitheatre which dates back to Roman times. Another restaurant with boat-only access offering inimitable Italian style.
TREVILLE BEACH CLUB | Positano
Recently restored and converted into a beach club neighbouring Da Adolfo, Treville serves a casual but upscale family style lunch equipped with their very own outdoor pizza oven. This is the place to see and be seen among the beautiful people. A very welcome addition to the Amalfi coast.
LO SCOGLIO | Nerano
Situated just outside of Sorrento, this restaurant is set on a long dock overlooking the picturesque Marina del Cantone. A typical family-run institution that is fashionable with locals where fresh, authentic Mediterranean cuisine perfectly compliments the vista.
LA TAGLIATA | Positano A welcome pitstop after a hike to Nocelle. Stop here for lunch to enjoy the view by day, which is as equally as mesmerising by night. A fun family-style experience specialising in home grown produce. Here there is no menu, the meal is simply determined by your appetite!
It’s an x factor. A feeling, a destination, an experience so special that it touches the soul and takes you to your happy place. For us, no place embodies that more than Formentera. We visited over 15 years ago when we were footloose and fancy free and fell in love. The truly, madly, deeply kind. We've been many times since and have been so inspired that we named our Formentera kaftan after this magical place. Aquamarine waters, white sandy beaches and a heart and soul to rival the best of Europe’s best (minus the ego and the crowds!), it is a must see / must do / essential addition to your bucket list of travel destinations. Often referred to as one of Europe’s best kept secrets. Swim, stay, eat, drink & play....Here are our best bits…
S W I M
· Playa Mitjorn; the longest beach and most beautiful of the island. Set up camp ~ the 11km mark in front of Flipper & Chiller.
· Cala Saona; a small cove where the beach is deeper than it is wide. Amazing sunsets with a cute chiringuito and a great taverna called Sol.
· Platja Llevant; sister to famous Illetes beach but less crowded and no beach merchants. Stay south for more secluded sections.
· Platja des Pujols; just south of Platja sa Roqueta in an unmarked turn off. Turquoise water and zero entrance fees unlike Illetes.

· Can Toni – La Mola; tapas bar with great atmosphere, a welcome pitstop after your compulsory visit to the hippie markets.
· Es Mercado – Sant Ferran; buzzy restaurant next to lovely night market serving the best pizzas on the island. Be sure to stop by Fonda Pepe later for authentic experience that dates back to the 60s.

· Beso Beach – Illetes; palm fronds and a DJ playing house music.. what more could you ask for?

· Big Store – Sant Francesc; situated next to the town square - where the day starts and ends for everyone.
Mykonos is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring places on the planet; and it was for this reason that we named our Mykonos kaftan after this magical place.
By extension, a place, or more specifically a hotel, which we feel fits perfectly into our Best Of series is the San Giorgio Mykonos. Put simply, the interiors and organic form of this hotel are so in line with our design aesthetic, they are like the Adam to our Eve, the Romeo to our Juliet, the Zayn to our Gigi (actually that may be taking it a little far!) We are beyond obsessed with design and interiors and this hotel is bohemian luxury at its best. While you sit at your desks dreaming of your next holiday, keep this special spot (and our Mykonos kaftan, of course!) front of mind... woven texiles, kilm rugs, laid back glamour, concrete floors and timber treasures; this is designer hotel heaven....The jewel in Mykonos' crown...We challenge you to disagree...
While we are on the subject of the Best Of...the hotel is a gift that keeps on giving as it has a younger sibling, Scorpios Mykonos beach club. Equally mesmerizing (those lights!) and just a stone's throw away from the Aegean sea, this little beauty is sure to awaken the inner designer in you.
It’s been a very long time in between newsletters! I hope everyone has been well and had a fabulous summer. And what a summer it’s been…
My mantra has been to be present and treasure the precious moments (especially with the little people in my life); something for the first time in my career I have the capacity to do in its entirety, yet if I am honest, at times, is still a work in progress..!
I have been blissfully distracted by the birth of my fourth child and third daughter, Saskia. My baby brain has very much been a constant and every time I have thought about reaching out to my wonderful customers and supporters of The Plunge Collective, something, or more accurately someone small (!) has diverted my attention before I can get my hands on the keyboard.
I want to thank everyone for the amazing support of Plunge since the launch.
We have had our kaftans far and wide from the Taj Mahal to Toronto, Byron to Brazil, LA to Utah, the Maldives to Madrid, Hong Kong to Hyams Beach and Palm Beach to Perth.
And there’s more to come…

We are thrilled to have finally launched The Plunge Collective.
Our vision has not only been to create sophisticated kaftans that exude beach and pool side glamour, but also high quality, wearable pieces that are wallet friendly. We have been influenced by the best in offshore trends but remain a uniquely Australian brand, designing and manufacturing our kaftans on our home shores to the highest quality standards.
Thank you for being part of the evolution of our brand. We hope you love the collection as much as well do.
